What Makes Me Different
I've been photographing families, mothers and babies across Newcastle and the Hunter for several years, documenting everything from growing bumps and newborn cuddles to the beautifully chaotic seasons in between.
Alongside my work as a photographer, I am also a student midwife.
My passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth and early motherhood extends far beyond the camera, and that understanding shapes the way I approach every session.
As a mother myself, I understand how quickly these chapters pass and how often women find themselves behind the camera rather than in front of it.
My work is centred around connection, emotion and creating an experience that feels calm, supported and genuinely enjoyable.
You don't need to know how to pose.
Your children don't need to sit still.
And your session doesn't need to look perfect to create meaningful photographs.
I specialise in creating natural, heartfelt imagery that captures the relationships, personalities and small details that make your family unique.
Through both photography and midwifery, I have had the privilege of witnessing some of the most significant moments in a family's life.

My work supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss has profoundly shaped the way I photograph. It has taught me that photographs are never just photographs.
